Each boat is individually hand built by experienced craftsmen.

Boat-skin:
With serveral hundred thousand GRABNER inflatable boats in use worldwide, the 3 layer boat-skin has proved its worth.
- The middle layer is a high-strength 1100 dtex polyester reinforcement (A) with tensile strength superior to steel.
- The exterior of the boat skin (B) is a custom blend of EPDM (Ethylene-propylene-diene) rubber, offering excellent abrasion resistance, and excellent ozone, chemical, bacterial and ageing resistance. It can withstand temperatures from -40 Deg C to + 90 Deg C.
- The inner layer (C) is a Natural rubber which ensures elasticity and air-tightness.
That renders GRABNER inflatable boats fit for use even in an environment of extremely low temperatures.

- hot vulcanization method
Production methods:
GRABNER inflatable boats undergo a process of “heat-vulcanisation”, where sections of raw natural-rubber (without roughening) are glued together, and only the entire boat will undergo completion, by application of the pressure-heat-vulcanisation process.
During that procedure the adhesive-cemented joints will merge to become one homogeneous unit. That ensures absolute air-tightness and rigidity. There is no better method of manufacturing an inflatable.
- Inflatable floor
Inflated bottom:
All GRABNER inflatable boats (except DISCOVERY) are provided with an inflatable-bottom. Only the section of an inflated bottom enables quick and easy assembly, as well as rapid deflation.
At the same time it constitutes little weight and minimum pack volume. In addition, it provides extra buoyancy, is comfortable to sit on or to lie back, and most of all, due to elasticity it gives way when bumping the ground. What gives way, can´t break!
- Fittings
Fittings:
Fittings on GRABNER inflatable boats are not weighty and bold, but are integrated and made of 6-layer boat-skin. That makes them unobtrusive, flat, strong and at the same time lightweight and space saving.
Safety:
GRABNER consider safety of their inflatable craft a matter of paramount importance.
The robust and elastic boat-skin bounces and gives way when subjected to bumps of severe velocity. The safety-air-valves, allow for fast inflation, precision dosage and rapid deflation. Unintended accidental release is not possible.
Service
Making repairs is simple. Mending holes and tears is as easy as glueing a patch to a puncturedbicycle tube.
